Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before teeing off.

What is FairwayCast?

FairwayCast generates AI-produced, multi-voice audio podcasts for golf trips. You upload your trip details — scorecards, notes, group chat snippets — and we produce a fully narrated podcast with multiple hosts covering your round. Think of it as NotebookLM, purpose-built for group golf.

What is an episode credit?

One credit = one episode. A pre-trip preview, mid-trip update, and recap each cost 1 credit. Most trips use 1–3 credits depending on how many episodes you want. Credits never expire — buy them when you have a trip coming up.

What's the Founding Member discount?

The first 100 waitlist signups get 20% off every credit pack they ever buy — permanently. No subscription required. Just buy credits when you need them at your locked-in discount.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits never expire. Buy a pack before a big golf trip and use them whenever you're ready.

What can I upload?

PDFs, plain text files, TXT, DOC, CSV, XLS, XLSX, HTML, and Markdown. Player bios, group chat snippets, itineraries, course guides, scorecards — the more detail, the better the episode.

How do I get the best results?

Give the hosts real material to work with. Name names, cite specific holes, quote the trash talk, reference the Nassau standings. The more specific your upload, the more it sounds like your group and not a generic golf show.

Can I get a refund?

Credits are non-refundable. If something went wrong with your generation, contact us and we'll make it right.

How long does it take to generate an episode?

Script generation takes about 20–30 seconds. Audio generation takes 1–2 minutes depending on episode length. You can leave the page — the episode generates in the background and will be ready when you return.

Can I share my episode with my group?

Yes. Every completed episode gets a shareable link your group can open from any device — no account required. You can optionally protect the link with a passcode.

How many voices can I use?

Up to 3 voices per episode. You can choose from our cast of host personalities and optionally give them custom names (e.g. rename "The Color Commentator" to "Dave").
